Terms of Service
Effective 2026-04-25. Book With Grace (“Grace”, “we”, “our”) is a Canadian booking marketplace operated from British Columbia, connecting clients with regulated wellness practitioners (massage therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, kinesiologists) who post last-minute openings.
1 · What Grace is, and isn't
Grace is an introduction and scheduling service. Grace does not provide health care, does not employ practitioners, and is not a medical clinic. Every appointment booked through Grace is a direct service relationship between you and the clinic where the practitioner is licensed.
2 · Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, a resident of British Columbia or Ontario, and able to enter a binding agreement under the laws of your province. Practitioners and clinic admins must additionally hold an active registration in good standing with their provincial regulatory college.
3 · Bookings, payments, and cancellations
- The clinic sets the price for each opening. You authorize a hold via Stripe at the moment of booking; the clinic captures the charge after the appointment is confirmed.
- Grace charges the practitioner a $5 CAD platform fee per confirmed booking. We do not charge clients directly for using Grace.
- Cancellation, no-show, and rescheduling rules are set by each clinic and shown on the booking confirmation screen. They apply directly between you and the clinic.
- Insurance direct-billing is not supported in V1. You are responsible for any reimbursement claim with your insurer.
4 · Acceptable use
You agree not to circumvent the platform fee, scrape the feed, attempt to derive practitioner identity before a confirmed booking, contact practitioners outside Grace for openings you found here, or use Grace for anything other than booking a regulated wellness appointment for yourself or your dependants.
5 · Verification & clinical responsibility
Grace performs lightweight verification of clinic listings (Google Maps presence, website 200 check, registration-number format) before publishing. Grace does not verify clinical outcomes, treatment quality, or insurance eligibility. The practitioner and their clinic are solely responsible for the care delivered.
6 · Account suspension
Grace may suspend or remove any account that is reported to a provincial college, fails verification on re-audit, exhibits a high no-confirm rate (practitioners), or violates these Terms.
7 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grace's aggregate liability for any claim arising from the platform is limited to the platform fees you have paid Grace in the 12 months preceding the claim. Grace is never liable for indirect, consequential, or clinical-outcome damages.
8 · Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia, except where you have non-waivable consumer rights in Ontario.
9 · Changes
We may update these Terms; the version date above will change and you will be asked to re-accept on your next sign-in following a material change. Non-material edits will be versioned without re-prompting.
